A workspace of one. The phone is the receipt scanner.
For the independent contractor or self-employed operator who is the whole company: you drive, you buy, you file, and on Friday you are also the one who has to make sense of it. Expense Horizon runs from your phone, catches the receipts that arrive by email, and turns the week into the Excel your accountant wants, with a PDF of every receipt behind it. Add a spouse or an assistant whenever that day comes.

The phone is the scanner
Install it to the home screen. Point the camera. Save.
There is no desk in this company, so the phone does the desk's job. Install Expense Horizon from the browser and it lives on the home screen; the camera is one tap from This Week. Take the photo, and the vendor, date, amount, category and address are suggested for you. No scanner, no pile.
- Camera, photo or PDF; straightened, cropped and read on the spot, no AI key needed.
- This Week on the phone: total, miles and receipts, then everything grouped by day.
- Split cost when a receipt is only partly yours; Pick from receipt when the reading misses.

The receipts that arrive by email
Forward them to your own address. They wait on the week.
Half your receipts never touch paper: the software subscription, the parts order, the hotel folio. Turn on email-in from Settings and you get a private inbox address of your own. Forward the receipt and it waits on the week for review, filed when you say so.
- A private email-in address per person, turned on from Settings.
- Forwarded receipts wait on the week for review; nothing is filed until you look at it.
- The same week, the same report, whether the receipt came from the camera or the inbox.

Miles
Home, the job, the supplier, home. One tap each.
Save the places you go and the day's trip is a tap per stop from your home address, with the legs computed and a return-home toggle. Miles land on the week and on the report at your rate. You add the trip; nothing follows you by GPS.
- Saved places plus Use My Location for the one-off stop.
- Tap I drove here on a receipt and its address becomes a suggested stop.
- Miles on the week and on the report, at your rate.

What it costs
Free up to 10 receipts a month. $12 after. Add a person any time.
One person, 10 receipts a month, free, and that is the whole product: capture, bulk upload, mileage, email-in, the weekly Excel and the receipts PDF. Past 10 it is $12 a person a month. When a spouse starts doing the books or an assistant starts running errands, add them: same workspace, their own weeks.
- Free up to 10 receipts a month per person; $12 a person a month after.
- Every seat gets the whole product; there is no cut-down tier.
- Your own subdomain, logo and colour, even for a workspace of one.

How the week goes
Monday to Friday, when it is only you.
- 01As it happens
Snap it or forward it.
Paper receipt: photo, check the fields, save. Emailed receipt: forward it to your address. Both land on the week.
- 02End of the day
Add the trip.
Home, the job, the supplier, home. One tap each from your saved places, miles computed.
- 03Friday
Sign, send, weekend.
Sign the week and email the Excel and the receipts PDF to your accountant, in the workbook they already use. If they would rather look for themselves, the read-only accountant role lets them.
