Expense Horizon

Tied into QuickBooks. Tied into your own accounting software.

The signed week does not stop at an email. With QuickBooks connected, everything on the week pours over and auto-files, receipt images included, and the accountant has nothing left to do. Custom-built accounting systems are connected the same way, and if your books run on something else, ask: most connections cost little or nothing to add.

QuickBooks

An approved QuickBooks integration. The week pours over and files itself.

Intuit QuickBooks

Expense Horizon is an approved QuickBooks integration. Once the week is signed and approved, everything on it goes to QuickBooks and auto-files: the expenses, the mileage, and the receipt images behind them. Nobody retypes anything, and the accountant has nothing left to do with it. Tell us how your QuickBooks is set up and we connect the two when the workspace is created.

  • Everything on the week, receipt images included, auto-filed in QuickBooks.
  • The weekly Excel and receipts PDF still go out by email; the connection is on top of that.
  • Approved by QuickBooks. Set up with you at the start, alongside the workbook and the mileage rate.

Your own system

Already connected to a company's custom-built accounting software.

Plenty of companies run their books on something built for them years ago. We have connected Expense Horizon to exactly that kind of system, and we would rather do it again than ask you to change how your books work.

  • Bring the system you have; we work out how the week gets into it.
  • Most integrations cost little or nothing to add. Ask before you assume.
  • Prefer to build it yourself? The open API is there for that.

Questions

Three things people ask about integrations.

QuickBooks (approved integration: the signed week auto-files there, receipt images included) and custom-built accounting software that a customer already runs. The weekly Excel and receipts PDF still go out by email as well, so nothing depends on the connection being there.

Next step

What do your books run on?

Tell us the system and how the expense report gets into it today. If it is QuickBooks, we connect it at setup. If it is something else, there is a good chance we can get you up and going.
